A new healthcare campus proposal aims to bring more convenient care to Fairview residents. On The Fairview Social Podcast, Harrison Kiser, President of Saint Thomas West, shared plans to invest in Fairview’s health through a new healthcare campus in partnership with Dickson Medical Associates. Anchored by a freestanding emergency department, the campus would bring emergency and outpatient care together in one location, improving access to services across the region. Expanding access to healthcare in Mt. Juliet. Ascension Saint Thomas is planning a new freestanding emergency department in Mt. Juliet that would bring hospital-level emergency care to one of Tennessee’s fastest-growing communities, pending state approval. Planned features include: • 24/7 physician-led emergency care • Trauma and triage rooms • On-site CT, X-ray, and ultrasound imaging • Full laboratory services The development will also bring together primary care from Legacy Primary Care, specialty care, and emergency services in one convenient location to better serve families across Wilson County. It was an inspiring week for Ascension Saint Thomas as we welcomed Eduardo Conrado to Middle Tennessee. Together, we visited the sites that reflect our 99-year commitment to caring for the growing Rutherford County community, including: • NICU, OB, and Critical Care expansions • Advanced cardiovascular program • Neighborhood-based care at the Westlawn hospital campus • Continued growth projects, including a Freestanding Emergency Department and Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital The week culminated in a powerful expression of our mission and values at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Alongside 600 Ascension Saint Thomas volunteers, we served more than 850 individuals during our Medical Mission at Home free healthcare event. To our teams across the ministry, thank you for your compassion, dedication, and commitment to serving our communities every day. Your work continues to make a lasting impact across Middle Tennessee.

Access to quality healthcare is essential to supporting the rapid growth happening across Gallatin and Sumner County. We are proud to support our partners at Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas in their proposed expansion of the Sumner Station campus, a $59.3 million investment that would add inpatient beds, specialized pediatric services, cardiac care, and surgical capabilities for the community, pending state approval.
