A family member called our office just to say thank you. Their loved one had been with our home health and hospice team on and off for nearly five years. After he passed, his daughter Cheryl kept calling. She wanted to make sure her gratitude reached every single person who had ever cared for her dad, across every admission, every discharge, every visit in between. That's the message that came through our team channel this week and I had to share it. To every Apex Hospice team member who showed up for this family, Thank you.

This week is Volunteer Appreciation Week!!   Our volunteers have been putting smiles on our patients one way or another. Our Companion Volunteers have been offering socialization to Hospice patients when they need it most.
