From checking ID cards in England to providing security for aircraft near lion-populated airfields in Africa, Joseph's 20-year military career has been anything but typical. Joseph, Control Room Manager at Antero, joined the Air Force after realizing a career in computer science wasn't the right fit. What started as a way to gain experience and help pay for college turned into two decades of service across active duty and the Air National Guard. As he prepares to retire later this year, Joseph reflects: "I'm proud that I took advantage of the opportunities I was given. I feel that I capitalized on the experience and learned skills that have helped me to be successful in my civilian career." Thank you for 20 years of service, Joseph.
About us
Antero Resources is an independent exploration and production (E&P) company engaged in the exploitation, development, and acquisition of natural gas, NGLs and oil properties located in the Appalachia Basin. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, we are focused on creating value through the development of our large portfolio of repeatable, low cost, liquids-rich drilling opportunities in two of the premier North American shale plays. FRAUDULENT OFFERS There have been recent incidents with organizations falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Antero or by people claiming to work for Antero. These unauthorized organizations and individuals use the Antero name and logo in emails and on forms in an attempt to solicit up-front fees from interested job-seekers. Please note that these communications are fraudulent. They do not come from Antero and are not associated with Antero’s recruitment processes. Antero does not send out unsolicited requests for personal information. Antero never requires applicants to submit money to Antero or outside recruiters in order to pay for travel, immigration, or other expenses. Antero emails always end in “@anteroresources.com”. Any email using “Antero” in a different format is not genuine.

Service doesn't end when the uniform comes off. The Antero Veterans Group volunteered at the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center nursing home located in Clarksburg, WV, planting flowers and vegetables alongside fellow veterans. While the gardens will brighten the grounds, the real impact came from the time spent connecting with the veterans who live there—sharing stories, listening, and honoring their service through presence. Thank you to our volunteers for making this day meaningful.

A library extends beyond just books. It's a place where communities gather to learn, connect, and grow. Recently, the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce acknowledged the Antero Foundation for donating $50,000 toward replacing the roof of the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library. This funding helps ensure the library remains an essential community asset for many years. In appreciation, the library named a second-floor space in honor of the Antero Foundation. A special thank you to the Chamber and the library staff for this recognition!

From WV State Trooper to Coast Guard Reservist to leading Antero's Veterans Group - meet Adam Scott. After the 9/11 attacks, Adam was already serving West Virginia as a State Trooper, but he felt called to serve his country as well. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves and was soon called to active duty for operations including the Global War on Terrorism, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and hurricane response efforts. "My time and experiences while on active duty operations taught me how to successfully navigate large-scale critical incidents with focus and resolve... which I took back to my law enforcement career and still utilize as a Security Coordinator for Antero Resources." His most impactful deployments involved search and rescue missions following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, during which his crew rescued numerous stranded residents of New Orleans, including the last known survivor who had been trapped in his attic for days. Today, Adam serves as Security Coordinator at Antero and chairs our newly established Antero Veterans Group, created to support our veteran workforce and engage with veteran-related events in our communities. Thank you for your service, Adam. We're honored to have you on our team. 🇺🇸 #MilitaryAppreciationMonth

This May, we're honoring #MilitaryAppreciationMonth by spotlighting Antero team members who bravely served our country. Meet Luke, a Senior Drilling Engineer at Antero Resources and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. “All of my great‑grandfathers, great‑uncles, and my father served in the military, spanning World War II through Vietnam. When the Global War on Terror began, I felt compelled to volunteer and do my part.” Luke deployed to Sangin, Afghanistan, during the 2010-2011 push—one of the war's most intense periods. Today, he brings that same dedication and leadership to his work at Antero. We're honored to have veterans like Luke on our team. Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more stories from the men and women at Antero who have served or are serving in the US military. Thank you, Luke, for your service. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to Elizabeth Lord, Office Coordinator at Antero Resources, on receiving the Outstanding First Year Supervisor Award from Arrupe Jesuit High School! In 2024, we launched a partnership with Arrupe's work-study program to provide Denver students with hands-on professional experience in our office. We're proud of Elizabeth and excited about the future of this program!
Congratulations to Elizabeth Lord of Antero Resources — the recipient of our Outstanding First Year Supervisor Award! 🏆 At our annual CWSP Supervisor Appreciation Breakfast, we had the joy of recognizing Elizabeth for the incredible impact she's already made in her very first year as a supervisor through Antero Resources — one of our valued CWSP partner companies that hires and mentors Arrupe students. From day one, Elizabeth didn't just show up as a supervisor — she showed up as a mentor. Our students don't just get a desk at Antero Resources. They get someone who genuinely invests in them, challenges them, and believes in what they're capable of. Elizabeth, what you give our students goes far beyond the hours they spend at work. You're helping shape who they're becoming — and that matters more than we can put into words. Thank you for showing our students what it looks like when someone truly cares. And congratulations on a well-deserved honor. 💛 #arrupe #denver #colorado #jesuit #education #ArrupeJesuit #CWSP #CorporateWorkStudy #ArrupeAdvantage #OutstandingSupervisor #SupervisorAppreciation #AnterResources #DenverBusiness #WorkforceReady #WorkforceDevelopment #StudentSuccess #MentorshipMatters #InvestInYouth #NextGenWorkforce #DenverEducation #CareerReadiness

On #EarthDay, we’re reminded that responsible energy development starts with respect for the land and communities where we operate. At Antero, that means thoughtful operations designed to protect air and water, minimize our footprint, and invest in the places we call home. By advancing cleaner technologies and improving efficiency, we believe energy security and environmental stewardship can, and must, move forward together.
