Amgen today announced the planned retirement of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Peter Griffith, who has helped strengthen the company’s financial foundation and long-term growth strategy since 2020. Thomas Dittrich will return to Amgen and succeed Griffith as Chief Financial Officer effective Sept. 1, 2026. “We are grateful to Peter for his leadership and lasting impact on the company,” said Amgen Chairman and CEO Robert A. The final steel topping beam is now in place at Amgen’s newest advanced manufacturing facility — expanding U.S. biomanufacturing capabilities for the future.
