    A strong start to 2026 — powered by the people of AMETEK. In the first quarter, AMETEK delivered record results, including double-digit growth in orders, sales, and earnings. This included record EBITDA, record orders, and a record backlog. As we shared on our Q1 earnings call, this performance gave us the confidence to raise our full-year guidance. What makes these results especially meaningful is the breadth of contributions across our company: ♦️ Innovation with impact: Several AMETEK businesses supported NASA’s Artemis II mission, which recently surpassed the record for the farthest distance traveled by humans in space. Congratulations to our teams at AMETEK FMH Aerospace, United Electronic Industries, NSI-MI Technologies, Zygo, Pixelink, and AMETEK Sensors & Fluid Management Systems for helping enable this historic achievement. ♦️AI Everywhere: We held AMETEK’s first AI Challenge, where 14 finalists — selected from 50 use cases — presented scalable solutions designed to create value across the company. Connor and Luke were the winners. Connor used AI tools to reduce design cycle times from 13 months to 1 month! Luke substantially improved an already world class M&A process. We are on to the 2nd wave of projects. ♦️ Investing for growth: Abaco Systems recently opened a new state of the art facility in Huntsville, Alabama, to drive innovation, collaboration, and customer success. ♦️ Top Shop Award: Congratulations to the AMETEK MRO Drake Air team on earning the Top Shop Award for Best Heat Transfer Repair for the 6th consecutive year. ♦️Expanding our capabilities: We announced our agreement to acquire First Aviation Services Inc., a strong strategic fit that will further strengthen our MRO capabilities in attractive defense and aviation markets. I will be back soon with a post on our agreement to acquire Indicor Instrumentation and AMETEK University #9.
