Meet Jono Watson, instructor at Addison South. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Jono is currently preparing for his ATP knowledge test as he works toward flying for a major airline with a west coast base. What stands out most in his role is the connection he builds with his students. Training goes beyond the aircraft, it is about trust, communication, and guiding each student through their own path. That same sense of connection carries into the instructor team, where a strong culture makes every day at American Flyers something to be proud of. #AmericanFlyers #FlightInstructorLife #BecomeAPilot

Everyone talks about “quality flight training.” But not every program is built the same. The way your training is structured from the start can impact everything from cost and consistency to how quickly you build real consistency in the cockpit. Understanding that difference is key before you begin. Read more about what quality training should look like: https://lnkd.in/eCfQukcu #AmericanFlyers #AviationEducation #FuturePilot

Meet Camille LaTulip, instructor at Conroe. Originally from Presque Isle, Michigan, Camille is continuing to expand her own training while guiding students through theirs, with her next goal set on earning a multi-engine rating. What stands out most in her role is watching students settle into the cockpit over time. The early uncertainty fades, decisions become more instinctive, and each flight starts to feel more controlled and intentional. That shift is where real training takes hold. #AmericanFlyers #CertifiedFlightInstructor #AviationCareer

Flight simulators are one of the most powerful tools in modern pilot training. Before stepping into the cockpit, students can practice procedures, instrument scans, and real-world scenarios in a controlled training environment. Simulators allow pilots to build confidence, reinforce decision making, and experience situations that would be difficult or unsafe to recreate in the air. From instrument training to emergency procedures, simulator sessions help students develop strong habits that translate directly to real flight operations. If you are pursuing a professional aviation career, understanding how simulator training supports real flight experience is an important part of your development as a pilot. Great flight instructors help students turn hard work into real milestones. Meet Seoyeon Kim, a Certified Flight Instructor at our Addison North location. Originally from South Korea, Seoyeon came to the United States to study aviation and completed her training in Michigan before beginning her career as a flight instructor. One of her favorite moments in training is celebrating with students when they pass their checkride, recognizing the dedication and preparation it takes to reach that milestone. Seoyeon’s long-term goal is to fly wide-body aircraft as a first officer at a regional airline. She also values the teamwork at American Flyers, where strong maintenance support, structured training programs, and collaboration between instructors help students succeed. #AviationInstructor #PilotCareerGoals #ProfessionalPilotTraining
