Yesterday in Kansas City, AGC of America joined with The Builders, a chapter of the AGC and Heavy Constructors Association to spotlight the growing dangers facing roadway crews in highway work zones and share the latest work zone safety survey findings. 🚧 Speakers including Macrina Wilkins and Suzanne Hitt of AGC of America, Bridgette Williams of the Heavy Constructors Association, and James Pflum, P.E. of the Missouri Department of Transportation discussed the real-world impacts of reckless driving in work zones and the importance of keeping both workers and motorists safe. Thank you as well to project partners including Clarkson Construction Company and RBE | Radmacher Brothers Excavating, along with the teams at The Builders' Association — including Lance Claiborne and Angela Crawford — for helping coordinate and support this important event. Every cone, sign, and flashing light represents people working just feet from live traffic to improve our roads and infrastructure. Slow down, stay alert, and help everyone make it home safely. #WorkZoneSafety #HighwaySafety #KansasCity #ConstructionSafety

Builder. Veteran. Aviator. Leader. Former AGC President Dan Fordice leaves behind a remarkable legacy of service to the construction industry, America’s veterans, and this nation. Dan believed deeply in the people behind this industry and the importance of moving “Together Forward” — a message that continues to resonate across AGC today. We mourn his loss and honor a life dedicated to leadership, faith, service, and preserving the stories of those who served before us. #TogetherForward
