A few of our team members attended this year's Oilseed Industry Training hosted in Chicago, Illinois by National Institute of Oilseed Products! This event was a great opportunity to learn about the ever-changing oil market and connect with industry experts.
That's a wrap on NIOP’s 2026 Oilseed Industry Training (OIT)! 👏 We welcomed 32 attendees from 18 NIOP member companies, with experience levels ranging from just 2 months to over 20 years in the industry—creating one of our most dynamic and engaging groups yet. The level of conversation, thoughtful questions, and knowledge-sharing throughout the day made this one of our strongest OIT classes to date. We delved into the industry's key players/components, markets overview, biofuels, transportation, processing, and consumer trends. And our attendees capitalized on this unique opportunity to network with one another and our presenters. A HUGE thank you to our amazing presenters (Beth Westemeyer, Tara Ryan, Courtney L., Emily Balsamo, Brian Shultz, Dennis Strayer, and David Tillman) for sharing their time, expertise, and real-world insights—they truly brought the material to life for our attendees.
