The least “Monday” Monday ever. ✨ I’m still buzzing from a full day of in-person connection in Washington, D.C. Starting the day meeting up with Alexander Darcy, the Founder of ADDA Talent (my boss), who made the trip down from NYC for the day. Then lunch with a client I first met 5 years ago at SHRM (someone I hadn’t seen in person since) and getting to meet the candidate I recently hired for their team in 3D for the first time. Then touring the incredible space of my newest client and chatting over tea about our partnership and approach. Then introducing a personal connection to our Founder for a potential collaboration. Then happy hour with a candidate I originally connected with over a year ago on LinkedIn, and now having an exciting job opportunity to share. And finally, wrapping up the evening with a lovely dinner catching up with a lifelong friend. Yesterday was such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful human connection truly is. The ebbs and flows of life bring such interesting people into our paths, and moments like these remind me how important it is to stay open to receiving those connections — and intentional about maintaining them. #recruitment #washingtondc #connection
