Our 2nd Annual Resident & Team Member Golf Outing was a tremendous success! ⛳️ Nearly 90 teams of residents, team members, and their families came together for a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and fun in the sun. Teams represented nine of our Acts communities, along with participants from our corporate and regional offices, making the event a wonderful reflection of the connections that unite us across the organization. A special thank you to our incredible volunteers who helped keep everyone going throughout the day, passing out refreshments and supporting our golfers along the course. Your generosity and energy were truly appreciated! We are especially grateful that the proceeds from this event benefited the Acts Legacy Foundation, which supports and expands the charitable programs and philanthropic efforts of Acts Retirement-Life Communities and its affiliates. At the heart of everything we do is our incredible team. ❤️ During this year's Team Member Appreciation Week, we had the opportunity to celebrate more than 8,500 dedicated individuals across our 28 communities in 9 states who work each day to create environments where seniors thrive. From food trucks and themed lunches to games, raffles, prizes, giveaways, and plenty of snacks, the week was filled with connection and gratitude. More importantly, it was a chance to recognize the compassion, commitment, and teamwork that make a difference in the lives of our residents every day. No matter the role or location, every person who contributes to our shared mission helps make our communities feel like home. Acts Lanier Village Estates was recently featured on FOX 5 Atlanta, WAGA-TV for hosting a “Yappy Hour” in celebration of National Pet Month and Older Americans Month. In partnership with the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, the event focused on this year’s Older Americans Month theme, “Champion Your Health,” showcasing the positive role companion animals play in supporting emotional wellness, social connection, and quality of life for older adults. Residents enjoyed time with their own pets alongside adoptable animals while learning about the health benefits of animal companionship and the importance of pet adoption in our local community. At 85 years old, Acts Fairhaven's Allen Brougham is celebrating a major milestone: his 20th season as a youth baseball umpire. For two decades, Allen has dedicated his time to supporting young athletes across Carroll County, MD. While he now mentors and trains the next generation of umpires, he still takes the field, bringing experience, consistency, and passion to every game. “It’s a lot of fun… knowing that you're doing something special for the kids. Transitions give us a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate.   After many years of dedicated leadership, Glenn Fox, General Counsel at Acts, is retiring. Glenn has served with wisdom, integrity, and a deep sense of care for the people and mission of Acts. His steady guidance and generous spirit have made a lasting difference in the lives of so many across our organization.   We are profoundly grateful for Glenn’s contributions and the example he has set through his leadership.   As Glenn begins this well-earned next chapter, we are pleased to welcome Josh Pasker as our next General Counsel. Josh brings not only strong leadership, but also a spirit of collaboration and care that reflects who we are at Acts.
