How to back up and restore the registry in Windows After you install this hotfix, you have to create the following registry subkey to make sure that the new solution location information is distributed successfully: Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CCM\CcmExec Name: MSIExecuteOnly Type: REG_DWORD Value: Any value in the DWORD data range. Note This registry key has to be created on the client computers. This hotfix is not concerned with the value of MSIExecuteOnly. It only checks whether this item exists or not.
