Join world leaders, ministers, donors and global health partners for a high-level discussion on the future of sustainable financing for sexual and reproductive health. With global contraceptive funding gaps projected to exceed US$185 million in 2026 — and lifesaving maternal health innovations still failing to reach scale — the need for urgent action has never been greater.
This event will spotlight new domestic and global financing commitments through the UNFPA Supplies Partnership, the Match Fund and the Maternal and Newborn Health Commodity Accelerator, while exploring how countries can strengthen access to essential sexual and reproductive health commodities in an era of declining development assistance. The event will feature high-level participation from H.E. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, Minister of Health of Ghana, H.E. Mekdes Daba, Minister of Health of Ethiopia, H.E. Dr. Ibrahima Sy, Minister of Health of Senegal and H.E. Muhammad Ali Pate, Minister of Health of Nigeria
Co-hosted by UNFPA, Member States, Unitaid and FP2030.
