Subsea7 has been awarded a substantial contract by Vår Energi for the Goliat Gas Export Project in the Barents Sea, offshore Norway. The project will enable gas export from the Goliat field to the Hammerfest LNG plant through the existing Snøhvit pipeline system. Our scope includes engineering, procurement, construction and installation. Work will begin immediately from our Stavanger office. Offshore operations are scheduled for 2027 to 2028. This is the first contract awarded under our new strategic partnership with Vår Energi. It marks an important step in strengthening our collaboration and delivering value together. Erik Femsteinevik, Vice President for Subsea7 Norway, says: “This contract demonstrates the strong foundation of trust between our teams and our shared commitment to early engagement, predictable delivery, and safe, efficient execution. By working closely from the outset, we are well positioned to deliver a high-quality solution for this important development.” Read more: https://ow.ly/bZAA50Z37aI #makepossible

On World Day for Cultural Diversity, we reflected on the rich cultural mix we are privileged to have throughout Subsea7, and its contribution to broadening our perspectives, and strengthening the way we work together as a global team. To mark the occasion, colleagues from around the world have contributed glimpses of their cultures, capturing traditions, gestures, and everyday moments which exemplify the value diversity brings to our work. Cultural diversity is more than something to celebrate; it’s a source of strength that drives learning and innovation in pursuit of collective success. Being open, showing empathy, and taking meaningful action, can create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to be themselves, and where their differences help our organisation to make possible. #makepossible #being7
