About us

In late 2009, Stott and May was founded on the belief that hiring managers should never have to make the choice between time to hire and quality of candidate. We noticed a gap in the market for a search offering that can combine the speed of contingent recruitment with a high value, high touch, insightful service more commonly found in the executive search space. A talent solution that's helpful, engaging, collaborative and stacked full of value-add. Built with the flexibility to provide our partners with a choice of best practice features that can be packaged to meet their unique hiring challenges. We've been building our team alongside the technical teams of some of the worlds innovative businesses. Our 130 employees across London, Reading, Los Angeles and New York are cultivating specialist talent communities every day to deliver the connections to drive growth. It's time to build better, more personalised, recruitment campaigns that deliver talent on time.

  • Most high-performing GTM leaders are not actively looking for a move. They are selective, well networked, and only move when the timing, leadership team, market opportunity, and growth trajectory align properly. Which means attracting them requires clarity, credibility, and a hiring process that reflects the level of the role. We recently supported a Series D LegalTech scaleup on a Senior GTM Director search for Northern Europe. The bar for a hire at this level was high, with little room for compromise. Below is direct feedback from the VP of Revenue on what made this partnership a success. If you’re hiring GTM leaders this year and want to achieve similar results, get in touch: https://hubs.la/Q04gh4KC0 #GTM #Leadership #Hiring #SeriesD #StottandMay

  • For high-growth companies, hiring timelines matter, and engaging with a search partner who communicates clearly, adapts quickly, and understands the realities of a fast-moving environment is crucial. We recently partnered with KURK to find their perfect Head of Marketing, a senior hire at an important stage of their growth. Momentum was key and they received shortlisted candidates within a week of the initial brief. Check out this direct feedback from the KURK team on this engagement and book a hiring 1-2-1 today to start your search: https://hubs.la/Q04fR1jJ0 #Feedback #Marketing #Hiring #SeniorHire #StottandMay

  • Congratulations to Anna Higgins, Adam Gelo and Glenn Osborn, our Consultants of the Month for April!   Anna Higgins continues to lead from the front with another standout month, qualifying for Global Incentive once again and delivering exceptional results across the board. Alongside driving multiple successful deals, Anna also played a key role in mentoring and supporting a consultant within her team to secure their first placement, highlighting the impact she has both individually and as a leader. Her consistency, professionalism and ability to perform at such a high-level month after month truly set the standard. An outstanding achievement and thoroughly deserved recognition.   Adam Gelo took complete ownership of April and delivered a huge month for the team. From generating his personal best performance to securing a brand-new logo and earning his place at Lunch Club, Adam showed exactly what hard work and determination can achieve. His growth has been clear to see, particularly in his attention to detail and candidate management, which continue to improve month on month. A brilliant teammate and someone with an incredibly exciting trajectory ahead of him. Massive congratulations Adam, very well deserved.   Glenn Osborn delivered a standout month, building on strong existing client relationships while also bringing a brand-new client on board and securing new terms agreements. His ability to consistently build trust with both clients and candidates continues to set him apart and has been a huge driver behind his ongoing success. What made the month even more impressive was the versatility and consistency Glenn showed throughout, delivering across both contract and permanent recruitment with speed, quality and professionalism. A fantastic recruiter, a brilliant teammate and someone who consistently leads by example through his work ethic and delivery. Massive congratulations Glenn hugely deserved! Massive congratulations to all three on an incredible month and for continuing to set the standard across the business. Very well deserved recognition all round!
