Tomorrow night, we’re excited to welcome the community back together for another fantastic event with the The Scottish Marketing Network. This is set to be a brilliant discussion around one of the most exciting and high-profile campaigns currently happening in Scotland — the branding and marketing behind the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Here’s what to expect at the event 👇 Some things are bigger than a brief. The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games is one of them. This event pulls back the curtain on how a brand was built from the ground up, from the heart of Glasgow. From the earliest “Clyde Made” concepts to a campaign that wears its Glaswegian identity with pride, every decision was made with intention. We’ll hear from the team behind it all — how they wove Glasgow’s brand DNA, culture, humour and warmth into every touchpoint, and how they brought the “Get You In Town” and “Obsession” campaigns to life. From developing a bold creative theme, to collaborating with influencers, to delivering across multiple advertising platforms. Beyond the campaign itself, we’ll also explore what it really means to host a Commonwealth Games in Glasgow — the responsibility, the opportunity, and the lasting legacy being created for the city and its communities. We’ll hear from: • Sarah McKerley — Director of Marketing and Campaigns at Glasgow 2026, sharing the whirlwind journey behind delivering a project that originally took 7 years in 2014, but has now been brought together in just 2 years. • David Craik — CEO at Bright Signals, the creative force behind some of the bold and uniquely Glaswegian campaigns supporting Glasgow 2026. David will share where the inspiration came from and what it’s been like partnering with such an iconic event. Come ready to be inspired by what happens when creativity meets purpose — and when a city gets to tell its own story. Get your tickets here: https://lnkd.in/eYM3hr45 Or reach out to Kerry McFarlane directly for more information. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night! We’re pleased to announce a new partnership between Nine Twenty Recruitment and Think Bambu. Across the market, we’re seeing a growing challenge for businesses - particularly SMEs and scaling organisations - that need senior marketing leadership, but not always on a full-time or permanent basis. Whether it’s supporting growth, navigating change, launching new propositions, or providing strategic direction during a transition period, many organisations are looking for more agile, high-impact marketing support. Together, Nine Twenty Recruitment and Think Bambu can offer: • Interim or fractional CMO-level leadership • Strategic, board-ready marketing expertise • Permanent marketing recruitment when the time is right This partnership allows businesses to access experienced marketing leadership quickly, while also building a longer-term talent strategy for the future. If your business is scaling, restructuring, or simply needs senior marketing expertise to create momentum, we’d love to have a conversation. A huge thanks to Sara Webster and Gordon Brown — we’re excited about the projects already underway and what’s ahead. Chris Lowden Carla Mckenzie

This Thursday, will be the next WeDO Scotland Glasgow event — and we are especially proud to see two long-term friends and supporters of Nine Twenty Recruitment leading the discussion. Ross Wilson, CEO of Vidatec , and Mark Gibson, COO at SilverCloud, will be sharing their insight on one of the biggest topics facing businesses today — how organisations can move beyond the AI hype and focus on where AI genuinely creates value. Both Ross and Mark have been great supporters of Nine Twenty over the years, and it’s brilliant to see them bringing their experience and practical insight to the Glasgow business community. The discussion will focus on helping organisations better understand where AI can genuinely support business growth, how to avoid costly distractions and unfocused adoption, and how businesses can create real competitive advantage while navigating the growing risks around cyber security, shadow AI and data protection. Our Managing Director of Technology, Chris Lowden, will also be attending on the day. If you would like to come along and join the discussion, please feel free to get in touch with Chris directly. Looking forward to a great event and another strong conversation with the Glasgow business community. Gordon Brown Belinda Roberts MBE Yvonne Webb Kerry McFarlane
