Great to welcome the team from Co-op to Mackie’s yesterday and give them a behind-the-scenes look at our ice cream dairy and farm. Convenience is an incredibly important channel for us, helping bring Mackie’s to shoppers in more locations and more everyday moments. Partners like Co-op play a key role in helping us connect with consumers and make our products more accessible across the UK. It was a pleasure to showcase some of the things that make Mackie’s unique – from using fresh milk and cream from our own dairy herd to producing our ice cream on a farm powered by renewable energy. There’s always something special about being able to tell the story first-hand and show the people, place and processes behind every tub. Thanks again to the Co-op team for taking the time to visit – we’re looking forward to continuing to grow together.

Last night, Mackie’s of Scotland was incredibly proud to be named International Business of the Year at the British Business Awards. To receive recognition on such a prestigious stage, alongside so many outstanding businesses from across the UK, was a truly special moment. This recognition shines a light on the years of hard work, ambition, resilience, and the collective effort of the exceptional team we have here. This award belongs to every single person at Mackie's of Scotland - from the farm, factory, technical teams and development teams, to operations, logistics, sales, marketing, and everyone in between. Their passion and commitment help us take a proudly independent, family-owned Scottish business to customers around the world. A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far and congratulations to all of the finalists and winners.

We’re absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for International Business of the Year at the British Business Awards! For a family-owned business based on a farm in Aberdeenshire, this recognition means a huge amount to us. What started with a dairy herd and a commitment to making great-tasting ice cream has grown into a brand enjoyed across Scotland and beyond. This shortlist is a reflection of the people behind Mackie’s who make it this business what it is. After an incredible 36 years with Mackie’s, our wonderful office administrator Marion is heading off on a well-earned retirement 💙 Throughout her time at Mackie’s, Marion has been a hugely important part of the business. From her early days in the milk office, to working as the late Maitland’s PA for 17 years, and the many roles she’s taken on over the years, she’s always brought dedication, knowledge and a practical, can-do attitude to everything she’s done. She will be greatly missed by staff and regular visitors to the farm alike. While it’s a big loss for us, it’s a big gain for her family. Have a fantastic retirement, Marion, you’ve more than earned it 💙

Great to see our positive news featured in this morning’s bulletin from the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce. As a proud North East business with ambitious national and international aspirations, it’s encouraging to share another strong year of growth. Even better, it means our delicious, real dairy ice cream is reaching more people year after year. Today we're celebrating Lucie's (right) 10 year milestone here at Mackie's, which was presented to her by our Chocolate Factory Supervisor, Morna (left). 🍫 Lucie is part of our Chocolate & Sweetie Kitchen Team, and is often found making our delicious honeycomb for our ice cream and chocolate. 🍯 We wanted to say a big thank you to Lucie for her hard work over these years, and congratulations on such a great achievement! 🎉

Congratulations to our very own Kirsten Blockley, who has been nominated as Supplier Sales Exec of the year! 🏆 This nomination recognises Kirsten’s outstanding contribution, dedication, and drive in shaping strong relationships with our valuable suppliers. Being shortlisted at such a prestigious industry event is a testament to her passion, professionalism, and the impact she makes across Mackie's. We wish her luck for the big night in February, but regardless of outcome, she's already a winner in our eyes!
