Pitch fatigue is something our industry doesn’t talk about enough. Not losing pitches, the exhaustion that comes from constantly pitching while still delivering high-level work for existing clients. Our ECD, Stuart Button, reflects on the waves of pitching and the challenge of keeping teams motivated, energised and creatively sharp. “Recently, we’ve been lucky enough to be involved in some of the most exciting global pitches in the industry, while navigating the realities of delivering projects: tight production timelines, movement restrictions, visas, geopolitical uncertainty and countless factors outside our control. “One of the biggest pressures is how much is expected before a project is even won. As pitching becomes more competitive, teams are investing huge amounts of creative and strategic energy upfront, often without any guarantee of return. “There’s a difficult balance between giving clients enough confidence in the thinking, taste and production approach, while still protecting the value of the work itself. “Then there’s the challenge of maintaining standards when budgets don’t always match ambition. “These conversations are happening quietly across agencies, production companies and creative teams every day. “The real challenge isn’t only winning pitches, it’s protecting the well-being of the people delivering them. "Especially off the back of Mental Health Awareness Week, it feels important to keep talking openly about how we manage pitch fatigue, burnout and sustainable creative performance in such a high-pressure industry.” We’re curious to know how others are approaching this right now. #Pitching #AgencyLife #EventProfs #MentalHealthAwareness

Over the past two months, we’ve delivered 6 hackathon experiences for one of the world’s largest cloud-based tech companies. Creating strategy, bespoke event assets, and scalable playbooks, all designed to connect our client with global brands. Hackathons aren’t just events anymore; they’ve become one of the fastest ways for brands to accelerate product thinking, uncover talent, and build meaningful engagement. Hackathons continue to prove why they’re such a powerful format: → rapid innovation in days, not months → direct engagement with technical communities → real-world collaboration between brands and talent It’s been great to see everything come together and we can’t wait to travel to more destinations in the year ahead. Today marks the start of #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek in the UK. This year’s theme is all about action, and how even the smallest actions can help us feel more hopeful and less powerless. We firmly believe it’s often the little things in life that can completely turn your day around. This morning, our Fuellers arrived to find Monday motivational post-it notes waiting for them, reminding them just how appreciated they are. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in deadlines, so seeing the smiles this small gesture spread across the office made our morning too. Fuellers building up Fuellers is something we’ll always love to see 🧡

San Francisco has always drawn the dreamers. 🌉 In 1849, they came with pickaxes and impossible hopes, chasing gold through mountains and mud. A century later, the beats and the hippies claimed these streets as a sanctuary for free thought - for questioning everything the world told them was fixed. Then came the garages and the dorm rooms, the startups and the IPOs. And now, once again, the world is looking to this city as the place where the next big leap is being figured out. Now we have AI. The Gold Rush of our generation. Different tools. Different language. Same restless, relentless San Francisco spirit. This week, we're excited to be here alongside one of our clients paving the way, right at the forefront of that next leap. Some cities follow the future. This one keeps inventing it. 🙌 #SanFrancisco #AI #TechInEvents

Another successful week delivering #BloombergHouse for our client Bloomberg Live - this time in the heart of the Miami Design District, right in the middle of the excitement of the Miami Grand Prix. A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring it to life. We can't wait to see where the next stop takes us.
We brought #BloombergHouse to Miami for the first time—and it couldn’t have been a better moment. In the heart of the Miami Design District, with F1 Miami Grand Prix week in full swing and the G20 on the horizon, the city was absolutely buzzing. What continues to stand out about #BloombergHouse is how it shows up where the conversation is already happening. We don’t try to create a moment in isolation — we build around the energy that’s already in the city, bringing together the people who are already in motion and giving them a place to connect more deeply. The House brought together leaders across investing, tech, media, sport and entertainment for a few days that felt fast, sharp and full of energy. The mix ran from Qualcomm, Disney, and Morgan Stanley through to athletes including Jeremiah White, Robert Mackey, and Dayne St. Clair, alongside investors, founders and leading voices across media, sport and business. One of the most meaningful parts for me was our Women Who Lead gathering. What started in Davos has become something really special, and Miami gave it a different kind of momentum — 40 extraordinary women in the room, including Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Susie Wolff, Bridget Finn, and Darlene Perez. On stage, the conversations were just as wide-ranging. From Mayor Eileen Higgins to Kyle Cooke, Dan Towriss, Mattia Binotto, and Orlando Bravo, there was a real sense of leadership, markets, and culture colliding in real time. This is where you 'Get the Money Side of the Story.' Huge thanks to Corient, Okta, and DXC Technology for their partnership, and to the Bloomberg Live team, Brandfuel Ltd, and Mario Carbone’s Major Food Group’s Contessa for the exceptional execution and care that made it all happen. More to come.

Nearly 1 million young people are out of work. We're offering 4 of them a way into events. Could it be you? Youth unemployment in the UK is at a near-decade high, with almost a million 16–24 year olds currently out of work, education or training. We believe businesses have a responsibility to help change that, particularly in the creative and events industry, where the barriers to entry have always been high. And so, we are really excited to announce our new and enhanced internship offering, with applications open now. We've previously run successful schemes in production and project management, and for 2026, we're going further, offering four 12-month placements in: - Creative - Business Support - Technical Production - Project & Event Management No experience in events? No degree? No problem. If you're curious, motivated, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you. The details: ✅ You must be 18+ with the right to work in the UK 🏢 We believe that being around people will help you learn, so this role requires you to be in the office 4-5 days a week in our central London office 💷 Competitive salary to support your travel and in-office days ⌛ Programme runs 7th September 2026 to 27th August 2027 📚 No degree or prior experience required - but include anything relevant in your application if you have it 🏆 Our successful candidates will have the opportunity to be in an environment that encourages and enables learning. Today is Earth Day 🌏 And we’re excited to share our greenest initiative yet 🌱 Earlier this year, in partnership with KB Event , we ran a fully electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 truck from the UK all the way to MWC in Barcelona - covering an incredible 2,320km with zero emissions. Making us the first events agency and transport specialists in the industry to achieve this milestone with an eHGV truck. What once felt ambitious - at times even unrealistic - is now a huge step forward for us, for KB Event, and for the future of event transport. Along the way, we gather valuable insights: 🔌 A single en-route charge took the battery from 16% to 100% in just 1.5 hours 🚛 Average range reached 591 km between charges ☕️ Planning 4 seamless charging stops alongside the driver’s breaks meant there was no added transit time The impact: 🦶1,865 kg of CO₂ saved—nearly half of the average person’s annual global footprint. We’ve previously partnered with KB Event to pioneer the use of HVO fuel, which now powers the majority of our transport operations, reducing emissions by up to 90%. And this milestone represents the next step in our journey as we continue working together toward a more sustainable future for event transport.
