⭐️ Sustainability in Action Deep Dive Workshops! ⭐

We’ve been working with cultural organisations and freelancers across the region and keep hearing the same big sustainability challenges come up time and again, 1. You want to understand what environmental data is actually worth collecting, how to integrate it into your current processes so it’s not creating extra workload for already stretched teams, and you want to know how to interpret it to make it actionable and drive improvements so it’s not just a tick-box exercise 2. You know that audience travel makes up the vast majority of your carbon footprint but are unsure what effective actions you can take to start influencing behaviours and nudging audiences to more sustainable travel options 3. You want to move past thinking about recycling bins and start exploring how to design out waste at the beginning of a project and not just as an after thought We’re inviting you to come along to three deep dive workshops to tackle these issues head on, where we’ll be sharing insights from our work, inviting guest speakers to present case studies and giving you opportunities to connect with peers over a vegan lunch!

  • 🚨The first CGIs for Southern Gateway, the ambitious regeneration scheme set to double the size of Bradford’s city centre, were revealed today.  Three new illustrations showing impressions of how the ‘Southern Gateway’ could look demonstrate the potential of the area to be a focus of transformational regeneration and growth. Each CGI provides an indication of how the Southern Gateway could be transformed, through plans that are being developed on the site which spans 126hectares at the southern edge of the city centre. The images have been produced as part of a year-long programme of work by global consultancy firm Arup More: New images bring Bradford’s transformative ‘Southern Gateway’ to life #BradfordBuiltDifferent #BeMoreBradford #Bradford
