  • 🦺 Continuing our focus on Safety Week... with a collaborative onboarding workshop from our colleagues at Kigtek Solutions - part of the Actemium UK network and VINCI Energies UK & RoI. Yesterday, members of the team from across electrical installation and control systems came together to discuss how onboarding can be continually improved for: 👉 New starters 👉 Subcontractors 👉 New projects and sites 👉 New processes and ways of working The session provoked interesting discussions around health & safety, wellbeing and consistency across project delivery. It also identified additional, practical insights into how to strengthen onboarding across both engineering and live site environments. A strong example of our teams collaborating to continuously improve how we work safely and effectively from day one. Start Safe, Stay Safe. 👏

  • Safety Week across Actemium UK is well underway. 👏 It was great to see colleagues from Actemium Switchgear Exeter, Actemium ICS and Twyver Switchgear, come together for a joint Safety Day - a combined session covering safety, team building, and cross-business networking. The morning sessions focused on this year’s theme, ‘Onboarding with a Site Safety Focus’, alongside a look back at key learnings from 2025. A big thank you to our Actemium M&E Head of SHEQ, James Ross CMIOSH, PCQI, for supporting the day and reinforcing why getting safety right from day one matters so much - whether at our own sites or supporting customers. In the afternoon, everyone swapped presentations for paintballing - giving the teams from all three business units the opportunity to build relationships in a more relaxed setting. A really positive day and a good reminder that strong teams and strong safety cultures go hand in hand. START SAFE. STAY SAFE. #SafetyWeek #SafetyCulture #Actemium

🦺 Welcome to Safety Week across VINCI Energies UK & RoI and Actemium UK! This year’s theme, ‘Onboarding with a Site Safety Focus’, is a reminder that safety is not just about day one induction. It is about how we support colleagues, contractors, and visitors in working safely every single day. That is why, each year, teams across our business take time to pause, reflect and re-commit to safety - whether they are new starters or long-serving employees. Because for us, safety is not a box-ticking exercise. It is about following proven ways of working, delivering every project to the highest standard, and making sure everyone gets home safely to their loved ones at the end of the day. That is why we encourage everyone to START SAFE & STAY SAFE.

  • 💙 Talking saves lives. It really is that simple. 💙 This Mental Health Awareness Week, our Automation team in Huddersfield took time out to do something different - come together over coffee, cake, and pizza, and have real conversations about mental health. We were then joined by Lucas Whitehead from #ANDYSMANCLUB - a suicide prevention charity offering free peer support groups across the UK and online. Lucas delivered a powerful and deeply personal talk, reminding everyone that we're never truly alone, and that talking can change - and sometimes even save - lives. At Actemium UK, we believe in creating the space and culture for honest conversations and supporting our colleagues when it matters. Thank you to Lucas for coming along, and the whole Andy's Man Club team for the extraordinary work you do. 💙 If you or someone you know needs support, find your nearest group at andysmanclub.co.uk #AndysManClub #ItsOKToTalk

  • 🦺 In E-Mobility, delivering projects safely in live operational environments is about far more than getting chargers commissioned on time. 👇 Whether at a motorway service area, logistics hub, commercial fleet site, or other high-traffic location, safety is critical to protecting not only our teams but also our customers, the public, and everyone operating around us. As principal contractor, that means every detail matters - from planning and coordination through to communication and site management. According to Simon Turner, SHEQ Officer at Actemium E-Mobility, strong health and safety performance is fundamental to building long-term client confidence and delivering projects with minimal disruption. Find out why safety remains central to successful E-Mobility delivery in the latest article from our Engineered for Safety series - published below. ⚡

🥃 In spirit manufacturing, up to 2% of the product can be lost annually through natural evaporation - called the “Angel’s Share”. But what if industrial automation and AI could help reduce that loss and unlock potential multi-million-pound savings? That’s exactly the challenge that Kigtek - part of the Actemium UK network - recently set out to solve - and did it successfully for one of the world's largest spirits manufacturing brands. Want to see the results and read the full story? Check out the comments below.👇 Have a food & beverage or spirits manufacturing project we can support with?
