THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE COMMUNITY IS HEADING TO ANTALYA Türkiye is gearing up for the international IAC organization to be held in Antalya. Astronaut Walter Villadei from the Axiom-3 mission, who visited Türkiye for #SAHA2026, stated: -- A new program that is coming up. And I guess so we can really make our relationship in between also Italy and Turkey even, much stronger in space. -- A great opportunity to come to Antalya for the IAC is a huge event. The old the International Committee will be there.

SAHA 2026 International Defence and Aerospace Exhibition is organized every two years by SAHA Istanbul, the largest industrial cluster in Türkiye and Europe with more than 1400 companies and 29 universities, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and with the participation and support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Secretariat of Defence Industries and other civilian and military public institutions, and under the organization of SAHA EXPO Inc. SAHA EXPO was held for the fourth time on October 22-26, 2024 at Istanbul Expo Center, Yeşilköy, Istanbul, on a total area of 90 thousand square meters, including 8 exhibition halls, foyers and outdoor areas, with 1478 exhibitors, more than 488 official and 178 commercial delegations, more than 100k visitors, 22.467 B2B meetings, 208 Product Launches and 133 Signing Ceremonies to be held during the exhibition with an economic value of USD 6,2 billion. As an international platform to showcase Türkiye's rising defence and aerospace production potential and independent production power, the exhibition presents many high-tech products of strategic importance in the defence, aerospace, maritime and space industries, some of which are being exhibited for the first time. In 2026, SAHA 2026 will continue to host its participants between May 5-9 as the region's largest exhibition in the Defence, Aerospace and Space Industry.

#SAHA2026 has come to an end. Now, all eyes are on the IAC, which will be held in Antalya. Astronaut Michael López-Alegría from the Axiom-3 mission, who visited Türkiye for #SAHA2026, shared his thoughts on #SAHA and the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC): -- I'm very impressed. I had no idea the size and scope of the expo, and it's truly impressive. -- I think it'll be a good opportunity for Turkey to show itself as a big player in the space world, and also for the people who will come to the Congress to get an appreciation of Turkey.

We have successfully concluded another SAHA Expo, where we proudly showcased Turkey’s mark on the defense, aerospace, and space industries. #SAHA2026 was not merely an exhibition space; it served as the ultimate meeting point for a massive ecosystem. Our proud achievements on behalf of the industry: $8 Billion in total export volume. 218 new product launches and 216 signing ceremonies. Strategic ties established with 819 delegation members and 105 commercial delegations from 75 countries. New steps toward collaboration through 28,947 B2B meetings. Furthermore, the enthusiasm of our 9,547 citizens who visited TCG Anadolu and TCG İstanbul has been a profound source of motivation for us.
