Important: AI Inbox is currently in beta and may change over time. Your use of AI Inbox is covered by the Google Cloud Terms of Service, and the specific terms for pre-release features do not apply.
To help you manage a busy inbox, AI Inbox helps you identify priority emails and topics.
Learn how AI Inbox works
AI Inbox helps surface to-dos and topics that matter most, all in one place. When you open AI Inbox, there are two main sections:
- Suggested to-dos: This section shows things that need your attention or action from your incoming emails. It identifies high-priority items and explains what you need to do in bold text, like a due date for a utility or credit card bill.
- Topics to catch up on: This section gives you a quick summary of important updates across projects and topics. It helps you stay updated on things that tend to be scattered in different email threads, like upcoming travel, restaurant reservations, purchase confirmations, and more.
To prioritize your most relevant tasks, AI Inbox:
- Requires recent activity in your Primary inbox to provide relevant to-dos and topics.
- Your AI Inbox may appear empty if you have not sent or received emails in the last 7 days.
- Filters out spam and emails that you have:
- Archived.
- Deleted.
- Muted.
- Snoozed.
- Does not support:
- Attachments.
- Delegated inboxes.
- Emails received in non-Primary tabs, like "Promotions" or "Social."
- Encrypted emails.
