When Chloe Philips Price joined ASSA ABLOY’s EMEIA Graduate Program in September 2025 she was driven by the opportunity to gain experience in a global organization, collaborate internationally and take on responsibility in a fast‑moving, innovative environment.  “The international secondment really stood out to me, it’s a rare opportunity so early in a career.”     Coming straight from university with a degree in communications she joined our communications team in Woking, UK and quickly gained, hands‑on experience across multimedia content creation, editorial planning, and leadership events.      Her next step in the graduate journey took her to New Haven, Connecticut, for a three‑month secondment with the Americas communications team.    “It has been a fantastic experience to meet and learn from amazing colleagues across the organization. It really reinforced the value of sharing ideas and best practices.”     Looking ahead, Chloe is excited to return to UK where she will take on greater end‑to‑end project ownership and further develop her product and strategic understanding.  “Being exposed to different teams and ways of working has helped me see how interconnected the business truly is. This year’s Earth Day was a great reminder of what we can achieve together. Across our global teams, colleagues took action by saving energy, reducing plastic waste, planting trees and more. From summer worker to thesis student and now full time mechatronics engineer, Elin's journey highlights how early opportunities can develop into a long-term career.  Elin joined us in 2019 as a summer worker, gaining hands-on experience with real engineering tasks early in her studies. This sparked her interest in the company and in 2022, she returned to complete her thesis at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems soon transitioning into a full-time role.  Elin values the openness to knowledge sharing and the opportunity to take on new experiences. “ASSA ABLOY is a company that encourages you to try new challenges. The freedom to learn and explore is a big motivation for me.”  In her current role, she has primary responsibility for mechanical engineering, working closely across electronics and software to broaden her expertise - including an interest in programming.    Elin’s advice to students and early-career engineers is to take initiative. “Engage with us at career events and show your interest in being part of the team, this approach has shaped my own career path.” Thank you, Elin, for sharing your inspiring journey!  Check out our career opportunities here: https://lnkd.in/ecNWrHpQ

Meet Chloé Usher    Chloé Usher works as Operational Excellence Manager for Carlisle Brass Ltd based in the UK and started her career journey with ASSA ABLOY in 2019, developing and delivering training in customer service and operations. Meet Maya Richter – one of our EMEIA division's graduates. We spoke with Maya, to hear how her journey has unfolded so far. Maya joined DoorBird after completing her studies, and just a few months later, her manager encouraged her to explore the EMEIA Graduate Program. It was perfect timing. “I had been considering a graduate program because I wanted to take responsibility early and turn academic knowledge into real business impact.”  What convinced her was the balance of international exposure and personal development. “The mix of hands‑on business experience and skill‑building workshops felt like the right combination of challenge and reflection.” Her first months in the program exceeded expectations, offering meaningful projects and support from fellow graduates and mentors. She is currently spending three months at ASSA ABLOY Smart Technology in Vietnam, working directly in the factory — an experience she had been eager to gain.   “A new environment, a new team, and a new way of working — that’s exactly what I hoped for.” Seeing how strategy turns into daily operations has broadened her understanding of the business. “By observing and contributing in a production environment, I see how high‑level decisions connect to what happens on the shop floor.”  Maya also highlights the warm welcome she received: “My colleagues made it easy to feel part of the team from day one.”  These experiences have strengthened her adaptability, cultural communication skills, and confidence in new situations. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue building a strong cross‑functional network. “The more exposure I gain, the clearer it becomes how interconnected decisions and teams are. Navigating that complexity — and contributing meaningfully — is what motivates me.” Stories like Maya’s capture what our Graduate Programs are all about: giving early‑career talent the chance to grow, explore new perspectives, and take real responsibility from day one.
