This might be a little late to post — but some experiences are too meaningful not to share 💡 From January 9 to February 1, 2025, I had the opportunity to work with an amazing team, Restore Hope, on a three-week-long LifeLines Hackathon 2025, hosted by Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. Together, we designed a prototype of a mobile app called RestoreSync, focused on supporting people in crisis and disaster situations. One of our key features was a need–donation matching dashboard, aimed at connecting those in urgent need with the right resources efficiently. After weeks of brainstorming, development, and pitching, we were proud to be selected as finalists among many talented teams. Although we didn’t win, the experience taught us so much — especially about collaboration, designing for real-world impact, and presenting under pressure. Grateful to have worked alongside Ayesha Erum, Azka Qazi, Syeda Maymona Mustafa.
