Pinangunahan nina BSP Area Director Conrado Ragay at Toledo City Mayor Marjorie Perales ang paglulunsad ng programa noong ika-16 Abril 2026. Lumagda rin sina City Mayor Perales at City Treasurer Felicitas Baguio sa Pledge of Commitment para sa BSP Piso Caravan Program, na nasaksihan ni Area Director Ragay, bilang bahagi ng pagiging Currency Exchange Partner ng lungsod. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is leading the development of the National Strategy for Financial Education (NSFE), which aims to strengthen the financial health of Filipinos. The NSFE envisions a society where individuals and families have the knowledge, confidence, and resilience to make sound financial decisions through accessible and effective financial education programs. Targeted for release this year, the NSFE is being refined through consultations with stakeholders. In line with this, the BSP convened government agencies, private sector partners, civil society organizations, and development institutions on 13 May 2026 at the BSP head office in Manila. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is working with other central banks to enhance cross-border payments. One such multilateral initiative is Project Nexus, which aims to link the instant payment systems of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and India. Nexus is already moving towards live implementation.
