The Story Behind This Role
Have you ever picked up a bar of chocolate that says “slave-free” and wondered: how do they actually know that? Who tracked that cocoa bean from a smallholder farm in Côte d’Ivoire, through a cooperative, onto a container ship, into a processing facility, and finally onto a supermarket shelf in Amsterdam?
Or think about the soy in your morning cereal. Was the land it was grown on part of a deforested area in Brazil last year? Is the cotton in your t-shirt linked to forced labour? Can the coffee brand you love actually prove its carbon footprint claims, or is it just a nice story on the packaging?
The truth is, most companies can’t answer these questions. Not because they don’t care, but because agricultural supply chains are incredibly complex. A single chocolate bar can involve five countries, dozens of intermediaries, and thousands of data points, most of which live in disconnected spreadsheets, PDFs, and legacy systems that don’t talk to each other.

The Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing, Amsterdam-based SaaS company building the data infrastructure for sustainable and resilient agricultural supply chains. Their platform empowers some of the world’s largest food and commodity companies to manage traceability, monitor sourcing risk, track emissions, and meet regulatory requirements.
Backed by major agri-food corporations and having recently secured €15+ million in Series A funding, the company is scaling rapidly. The team of approximately 50 professionals is diverse, mission-driven, and deeply committed to making supply chain sustainability actionable rather than aspirational.
We are now looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to drive revenue growth with new enterprise logos and strategic, high-value accounts across the European market.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation through to close for enterprise and strategic accounts in the agri-food and commodity trading space.
- Build and manage relationships with C-level executives, procurement leaders, and sustainability decision-makers within target organizations.
- Drive negotiations and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals that align with strategic account objectives.
- Maintain a disciplined, well-managed pipeline with accurate forecasting and regular reporting on progress and revenue outlook.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team to align on account strategies, share front-line insights, and contribute to long-term go-to-market planning.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and within key customer networks across Europe.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into the European market.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota with high-value, complex accounts and delivering accurate forecasts.
- Experience selling into the food, agriculture, commodity trading, or supply chain sustainability space is a strong plus.
- Advanced consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in multi-stakeholder environments, including C-suite.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Challenger, MEDDPICC, or SPICED.
- Fluent in English plus a second European language.
- Affinity with sustainability, ESG, or impact-driven business is a plus.
What’s On Offer
- Base salary up to €100K
- OTE up to €200K (uncapped)
- Employee Participation Plan (SARS)
