𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐏𝐅𝐀𝐒-𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 Many PFAS applications remain technically necessary in semiconductor manufacturing. Until viable substitutes are widely available, the practical approach is clear: ➡️ Reduce PFAS emissions through targeted wastewater treatment. Suitable treatment approaches for PFAS-containing wastewater streams include: ✅ Reverse osmosis (RO) to pre-concentrate PFAS streams for further treatment. ✅ Adsorption systems (e.g. activated carbon) that bind long-chain PFAS molecules and remove them from the water cycle. ✅ Ion exchange systems that primarily remove short-chain PFAS molecules. Industrial wastewater treatment rarely relies on a single technology. Instead, it requires modular process chains tailored to the specific PFAS composition in the wastewater - including pre-treatment steps such as ultrafiltration and precipitation. 💦 This integrated approach allows semiconductor manufacturers to comply with tightening regulatory limits, reduce environmental emissions and prepare infrastructure for future PFAS restrictions. PFAS may be persistent. But with the right treatment strategy, their environmental impact doesn’t have to be. 👉 Which PFAS treatment approaches are currently being evaluated in your fab? #PFAS #SemiconductorIndustry #IndustrialWastewater #EnvironmentalTechnology

When we talk about service, we talk about 💯 reliability in everyday operations. Not only when something goes wrong, but also in all the small moments in between. Trust is built step by step: 🔧 through every system installed, 📞 every call answered, 🤝 and every issue solved together. Today, more than 20 DAS service teams support customers across eight countries. 🌍 They are united by a shared commitment to responsibility, consistency and practical support on-site. Over the years, several of our teams — for example in Taiwan, Japan and Malaysia — have received customer awards for reliability, technical expertise and collaboration. 🏆 These recognitions mean a lot to us because they reflect something that cannot be automated: being there when customers need support and building relationships people can rely on. At the same time, every long-term partnership starts somewhere. 🚀 With a first project. ⚙️ A first installation. 💬 Or simply a first conversation. That is where trust begins. 👉 What, in your view, turns a service provider into a trusted long-term partner? #SemiconductorIndustry #ServiceExcellence #GlobalService #EnvironmentalTechnology #FabOperations

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐅𝐚𝐛 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 When people think about semiconductor manufacturing, they usually think about the cleanroom. But the subfab is where a large part of fab support infrastructure is housed. 🏭 It hosts critical systems such as: 🔹 Process utilities 🔹 Vacuum pumps 🔹 Waste gas abatements and water treatment systems 🔹 Power, control and monitoring infrastructure These systems ensure that semiconductor processes run safely, reliably and within environmental and operational limits. At the same time, the subfab is also a major energy consumer within a fab. Optimizing its operation therefore offers significant potential for: ✅ Energy savings ✅ Emission reduction ✅ Improved operational stability This is exactly where SEMICONDUCTOR-X Application Cluster 2 focuses its work. By integrating real-time data, expert knowledge and digital services, the project explores how cleanroom and subfab systems can operate in a more coordinated and intelligent way.💡 At DAS Environmental Experts, we contribute decades of experience in waste gas treatment and environmental technologies to this effort.💪 👉 Where do you currently see the biggest untapped optimization potential in semiconductor subfab operations? #DASEnvironmentalExperts #SemiconductorX #Subfab #DigitalFactory #SemiconductorIndustry

The new location is situated close to key semiconductor manufacturing sites, enabling faster response times, closer coordination with our customers and higher operational service availability. Thanks to the close proximity, travel times can be reduced by up to 80 percent. At the same time, the new location also reflects the ongoing development of the semiconductor ecosystem in Dresden and the growing importance of specialized suppliers within the industry. 📸 Pictured (from left to right): Stephan Raithel and Dennis Dietrich of DAS Environmental Experts, along with Frank Bösenberg of Silicon Saxony, at the opening of the new service location in northern Dresden. #DASEnvironmentalExperts #SiliconSaxony #SemiconductorIndustry #Dresden #Semiconductor #EnvironmentalTechnology

It’s how well someone understands what’s happening — especially when things don’t behave as expected. That’s why we put a strong focus on training. 💯 Not as a one-time program, but as something ongoing. Across teams, across locations 🌍, across different setups. With our three Innovation & Support Centers worldwide, we create real spaces for learning, sharing ideas and building a real understanding of systems and processes. Because at the end of the day, service quality depends on people being able to act — not just follow procedures. And that's exactly why we're building expertise – no matter where our people are located. 👉 How do you structure training in your service organization to ensure consistent performance? #SemiconductorIndustry #ServiceExcellence #GlobalService #EnvironmentalTechnology #FabOperations
