🔬 Innovation, research and exchange of expertise Valvitalia recently took part in a scientific outreach event at the ENEA Nuclear Research Centre on Lake Brasimone, organized by ANIMP - Associazione Nazionale di Impiantistica Industriale. Together with our colleagues Claudio Scuratti and Simone Albanese, we had the opportunity to visit the historical PEC facility, originally developed by ENEA to study fuel element behaviour in a sodium-cooled fast neutron reactor. Today, these areas are dedicated to research activities focused on next-generation nuclear technologies, including the tests related to the “Precursor” project - the 10 MWe lead-cooled pilot reactor developed by newcleo. An interesting and valuable occasion to connect with industry professionals, exchange perspectives and gain deeper insight into the future evolution of the energy sector. 💙 A well-deserved new chapter! After 35 years with Broady Flow Control Limited - part of Valvitalia Group, Alison Robinson is saying goodbye to an incredible chapter and beginning a well-deserved retirement. From joining the company in 1991 as a Purchasing Clerk to becoming Managing Director in 2013, Alison has been a key part of the company’s journey for more than three decades, leading with commitment, experience and genuine care for the people around her. More than a colleague, Alison has been a trusted presence for so many across the business, helping shape the company and its culture over the years. 📈 2025 marks a return to profitability and a significant improvement in performance for Valvitalia Group. We closed the year with €217.5 million in revenue and €241.7 million in new orders, alongside a solid backlog of €224.8 million, reinforcing visibility on future growth. Profitability improved significantly, with EBITDA reaching €17.3 million and net income back to positive at €1.7 million. These results reflect stronger operational efficiency, disciplined execution and the trust of our clients across global markets. During the year, we continued to strengthen our international footprint, advancing our industrial development strategy in key markets including China, the Americas and the MENA region. Connecting talent with industry 🎓   Over the past few weeks, Valvitalia has taken part in several career and orientation initiatives across Italy, engaging with students from both universities and high schools.   During the 'Career Fair' at the Università degli Studi di Pavia, we connected with a wide range of students, sharing what we do and the opportunities within Valvitalia. In Ancona, our Fire Fighting colleagues joined the 'Job Service Day' at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, sparking open conversations around skills, career paths, and industry challenges.   We also spent time with graduating students from Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Laeng Meucci  (Ancona), offering a closer look at the roles and competencies shaping today’s industrial landscape.   These moments matter.
