The discussions also underlined the crucial role of supporting companies that invest in technological innovation and advanced processes, which are fundamental drivers of growth in the automotive sector. Gnutti Carlo was founded in 1922 as a company dedicated to the production of components for the agricultural sector. From the very beginning, the business has been led by the Gnutti Family, which still today represents a constant and active reference point in the management and development of the Group. Over the decades, the company has successfully evolved through a series of strategic transformations, eventually embarking in the mid-1980s on an industrial path focused on the automotive sector. It is during this phase that the specialization in the production of engine components took shape, with particular focus on rocker arms and diesel injection systems. In 2014, the Group acquired Ljunghall (a leader in aluminum components), establishing the Light Metals Division; in 2018, with the acquisition of TCG Unitech, it further strengthened its core business by adding a division dedicated to die-cast components, plastic injection molding, and pumps. Today, with over a century of industrial history, Gnutti Carlo is a global key player in the automotive sector and a trusted partner of leading OEMs worldwide. The Group benefits from strong family continuity in leadership. With around 4,000 employees and a solid global industrial network across nine countries, its growth is driven by reliability, operational excellence, innovation, and strategic acquisitions.

Last week, Gnutti Carlo Italy had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Wuxi, China, including representatives from the local Economic & Technological Development Zone and Investment Promotion institutions, together with our President, Vice President, Board Members, CEO and Management Team. The delegation visited our Maclodio headquarter, offering a valuable opportunity to strengthen international dialogue and exchange perspectives on industrial development and potential areas of cooperation. During the visit, we shared an overview of our Group, highlighting our global presence and underlining how China represents a strategic and strong asset for our organization. This meeting also provided a valuable moment to exchange perspectives on international trade and to share our respective cultures, reinforcing mutual understanding and collaboration. Ne abbiamo parlato oggi in #ConfindustriaBergamo con Mario Gnutti, Vice Presidente di Gnutti Carlo Group, protagonista del nuovo appuntamento di “A tu per tu con i Capitani d’impresa”, moderato dalla Presidente Giovanna Ricuperati. Partito dalla fabbrica e cresciuto dentro un’impresa con un forte core nell’automotive, Mario Gnutti ha raccontato come l’evoluzione del business possa nascere proprio dalla solidità delle competenze industriali, dalla meccanica alla meccatronica, dal motore termico all’elettrico, fino allo sviluppo di tecnologie applicabili anche oltre l’auto, in ambiti come telecomunicazioni, fotovoltaico ed eolico. Una trasformazione che non nasce dall’abbandono delle proprie radici, ma dalla capacità di leggere in anticipo le discontinuità, investire al momento giusto, acquisire nuove competenze e aprirsi a mercati e settori diversi senza perdere solidità industriale. Al centro, una visione molto concreta dell’impresa: crescita internazionale, managerializzazione, governance chiara, attenzione alle persone e a quel “DNA aziendale” che permette a un’organizzazione di non farsi superare dalla complessità. Una testimonianza preziosa perché lontana dalla retorica dell’impresa come risultato individuale. Il valore sta nell’organizzazione, nel senso di appartenenza, nella capacità di trasformare competenze, cultura e responsabilità condivisa in futuro industriale.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our Global Sales Meeting in Italy, bringing together our sales team for an open dialogue about business and strategic exchanges. The discussions focused on new business opportunities, the evolution of our current projects, and on the new initiatives we are setting up to further strengthen our presence in the automotive world. We also explored brand strategic opportunities our Group is ready to embrace with confidence and ambition. Beyond strategy and business flow, these days confirmed once again how valuable it is coming together as one team and one Group, united by a shared commitment to continuous improvement. Moments of deep work and constructive discussion through quality time, shared experiences, and extra activities that are essential for building trust, positivity, and strong connections. We are very pleased to share that during the last week we hosted the entire HR Department, together with our Group CHRO Alessandro Treccani and our Group CIO Roberto Amistà, in Italy for three focused days of workshops aimed at advancing our tools and processes. The participants had the opportunity to see the progress and tangible impact of key initiatives, including the new HRIS and the new Group Intranet platform, made possible through the valuable support of our Communication and IT teams. A special moment of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and exchange across the Group. We look forward to continuing this journey of continuous improvement. Last Tuesday, we celebrated an incredible milestone, earning the Caterpillar Excellence Award for the second year in a row! To mark the occasion, we hosted a pizza lunch for the entire team and went big with it, 134 pizzas delivered! It was a great way to bring everyone together and recognize the collective effort behind this achievement. We were also honored to welcome members of Caterpillar on site to present the award plaque in person. Their visit made the moment even more meaningful and reinforced the strong partnership behind this success. This recognition is a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence that our people demonstrate every day. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this happen.
