    In the past days, Rome became the stage for the FENDI Retail Seminar 2026, an immersive experience that brought together more than 300 talents from across the globe to celebrate the Maison’s vision for the future of luxury retail. Set against the iconic backdrop of Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, FENDI’s headquarters, and hosted across some of the Eternal City’s most remarkable locations, the seminar reflected the spirit of the House: a balance of heritage, innovation, craftsmanship, and contemporary elegance. Over several inspiring days, participants engaged in meaningful conversations around product and styling, selling ceremony, and the key priorities shaping the future of our retail success. Through workshops, presentations, and shared practices, teams explored a full clienteling and wardrobing mindset, a life client journey approach, and the importance of full team engagement in creating exceptional client experiences. More than a seminar, the event represented a powerful moment of connection for the global FENDI community. It reinforced a collective ambition to evolve the retail competence while remaining deeply rooted in the Brand’s values of creativity, excellence, and human connection.     The journey of the Baguette® 26424 Re-Edition continues her journey and its installation was presented last week at Fendi Shanghai IFC Boutique. The activation brought to Shanghai a contemporary tribute to the icon’s origins, reinterpreting the first 1997 model code through a curated selection of collectible pieces. Six Shanghai exclusives from the twenty unique creations were showcased, each featuring the Re-Edition metal tag and displayed in bespoke wooden crates inspired by archival art transport cases. Suspended crates and archival imagery transformed the boutique into an immersive atelier-like environment, extending the storytelling from Palazzo FENDI Milano and offering visitors an intimate experience of the House’s craftsmanship, archives, and dialogue between heritage and modernity.     At Milano Design Week 2026, FENDI celebrates the return of an icon with the Baguette 26424 Re-Edition, a contemporary re-reading of its origins, revisiting the first model code from 1997. Presented at Palazzo FENDI Milano, the collection reconnects the House’s most emblematic bag with its archive. Comprising twenty unique creations, including six Milan exclusives, each piece is conceived as a collectible, complete with a Re-Edition metal tag and presented in bespoke wooden crates inspired by art transport cases.     During Milano Design Week 2026, FENDI announced the launch of the FENDI Design Prize, a new annual initiative dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging design talents, reinforcing the Maison’s long-standing commitment to creativity and craft. Curated by designer Giulio Cappellini with an international jury including Rossana Orlandi, Patricia Urquiola, Cristina Celestino, Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, Josh Owen, and Joseph Grima, the Prize reflects a global dialogue between established voices and new generations. In early 2026, a brief was shared with selected design schools, leading to the announcement of six finalists. On April 19th, VIA by Gustav Craft was announced as winner at the FENDI Casa Boutique in Piazza della Scala, Milan. Inspired by the #sanpietrino, the typical basalt stone paving Rome’s streets for over two thousand years, the project reinterprets this historic element into a contemporary furniture collection. It includes a woven leather seat recalling Roman roads, a steel frame with exposed joints that reveal its construction, a rug evoking the aerial view of an ancient city shaped over time, and a mirror resting on a rough-cut sanpietrino block. Together, the pieces reflect on designing objects meant to endure. The winning project will be developed with FENDI Casa and presented at Design Miami in December 2026, highlighting the ongoing commitment to nurturing new voices and shaping the future of design through craft, vision, innovation and collaboration.  #MilanoDesignWeek #FENDIDesignPrize #DesignMiami
