Mental health is not a separate issue from physical health in the rare disease community. Living with a rare disease presents unique challenges that extend beyond physical symptoms. The uncertainty of diagnosis, limited treatment options, social isolation, and complex medical management create an emotional burden for both patients and their caregivers. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MentalHealthMatters
