🏃♀️➡️ 🏃♂️➡️ Ultrabalaton 2026 completed – again! 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️   209 km around Lake Balaton. 13 runners, 2 drivers and 1 cyclist supporting the team.   At Ultrabalaton 2026, Team Runmetall of Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) set out with a clear goal: to complete the 209 km relay in 22 hours and 30 minutes. We started from Balatonfüred on Saturday at around 10.30 am and crossed the finish line back in Füred shortly after 9 am on Sunday - with a total time of 22 hours and 38 minutes.   This year marked the 20th Ultrabalaton, once again with a record number of participating teams, and we are incredibly proud to have been part of such a special edition.   🌟 Every teammate added something unique to the race: some ran multiple sections, some took on the night shifts, some conquered the steepest parts, some joined at the very last minute, while others supported the team on two or four wheels - or by opening their home to runners between stages for a short but much-needed rest.   And as always, the journey became so much more than the race itself.   We were rewarded with a beautiful sunrise, scenic routes, countless shared moments between stages, and even a section that led through a wine cellar! At one of the relay points, we also met the team from the new Rheinmetall factory in Szeged, which made the experience even more fun!   Huge credit to everyone who took part, supported, drove, cycled, cheered and kept the spirit high from start to finish. 👏👏👏   And while the well-deserved pats on the back are still going around in the office, we are already looking forward to next year’s challenge! ☄️   #WeR4Running #RUNMETALL #Ultrabalaton #Teamwork

💫 Happy International Women’s Day 2026! 💫 👩💻 As an IT services company that’s not much older than 3 years, we are proud to be growing fast: reaching 191 team members, 58 of whom are women. In an industry where women remain significantly underrepresented, this is more than just a number. In the tech and ICT sectors across Europe, women often make up only about 20% of ICT specialists, with some countries like Hungary seeing even lower figures - around 15% according to recent Eurostat data. While our female representation may be above some industry averages, that is not the primary reason we celebrate today. What truly matters to us is what our female colleagues bring into everything we do. Sometimes, the path to a different role isn’t a straight line. It can involve shifts, changes, and sometimes even a switch to a completely different department, where we find new challenges for our skills and passions. This was the case with one of our colleagues, Nikoletta Marics. After joining us as a Senior IT Project Manager at the beginning of 2024, Niki quickly became a standout performer, delivering exceptional work with dedication and professionalism. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Niki was even awarded our Appreciation Award in the first half of 2025. 🏆 In the summer of 2025, we reached out to her amidst an internal restructuring, offering her the opportunity to take on the newly created Team Lead position within our Company Operations team. Niki eagerly accepted, embracing this new task with the same enthusiasm and hard work that have always defined her approach. 💫 Today, Niki leads a fantastic team, guiding colleagues with both skill and compassion. We are glad to see her shine in this new role, demonstrating not only leadership, but also a deep empathy and a remarkable ability to connect with others. 👏💯 Congratulations Niki, you are truly an inspiring people manager, and we are lucky to have you as part of our team! 🎉
