# Global Settings (Editor) (DB2ToSQL)
Use the Editor page of the **Global Settings** dialog box to specify settings for code editor windows.  
  
To access the editor settings, on the **Tools** menu, select **Global Settings**, click **GUI** at the bottom of the left pane, and then select **Editor**.  
  
## Options  
**Show line numbers**  
To display line numbers in code editor windows, select **True**.  
  
If a code editor window is selected when you change this setting, you may need to reselect the current object to update the display.
