# Device Information Settings for Rendering Extensions (Reporting Services)
  In [!INCLUDE[ssRSnoversion](../includes/ssrsnoversion-md.md)], device information settings are used to pass rendering parameters to a rendering extension. Each rendering extension accepts a specific set of settings.
