# InstanceName property (ServerSettings Class)

  Gets the name of the instance of [!INCLUDE[msCoName](../../../includes/msconame-md.md)] [!INCLUDE[ssNoVersion](../../../includes/ssnoversion-md.md)] to which the server settings apply.
