# ProtocolName Property (ClientNetworkProtocolProperty Class)

  Gets the name of the protocol that owns the current property referenced by the [PropertyIdx Property (ClientNetworkProtocolProperty Class)](../../../relational-databases/wmi-provider-configuration-classes/clientnetworkprotocolproperty-class/propertyidx-property-clientnetworkprotocolproperty-class.md) value.
