# SQLConnect

  When a connection is opened, [!INCLUDE[ssNoVersion](../../includes/ssnoversion-md.md)] Native Client sets SQL_COPT_SS_MUTUALLY_AUTHENTICATED and SQL_COPT_SS_INTEGRATED_AUTHENTICATION_METHOD to the authentication method used to open the connection.
