When an ODBC 2.*x* or ODBC 3.*x* application working with an ODBC 3.*x* driver calls **SQLExecDirect**, **SQLExecute**, or **SQLParamData** with the same result, the ODBC 3.*x* driver should return SQL_NO_DATA.
