# Supported Versions of FoxPro
You can use the Microsoft® Visual FoxPro® ODBC Driver to access data stored in FoxPro tables. The following versions of FoxPro data are supported:  
  
-   2.0  
  
-   2.5  
  
-   2.6  
  
-   Visual FoxPro (all versions)  
  
 When you access data stored in Visual FoxPro, you can choose to connect to a [database](../../odbc/microsoft/visual-foxpro-terminology.md) that contains zero or more [tables](../../odbc/microsoft/visual-foxpro-terminology.md) or to a directory of [free tables](../../odbc/microsoft/visual-foxpro-terminology.md).
