# setLong Method (SQLServerCallableStatement)

  Sets the designated parameter to the given **long** value.  
  
## Syntax  
  
```  
  
public void setLong(java.lang.String sCol,  
                    long l)  
```  
  
#### Parameters  
 *sCol*  
  
 A **String** that contains the parameter name.  
  
 *l*  
  
 A **long** value.  
  
## Exceptions

## Remarks  
 This setLong method is specified by the setLong method in the java.sql.CallableStatement interface.
