# setBoolean Method (SQLServerPreparedStatement)

  Sets the designated parameter to the given **boolean** value.  
  
## Syntax  
  
```  
  
public final void setBoolean(int n,  
                             boolean x)  
```  
  
#### Parameters  
 *n*  
  
 An **int** that indicates the parameter number.  
  
 *x*  
  
 A **boolean** value, either **true** or **false**.

## Remarks  
 This setboolean method is specified by the setboolean method in the java.sql.PreparedStatement interface.
