# DeleteRule Property Example (VC++)
This example demonstrates the [DeleteRule](../../../ado/reference/adox-api/deleterule-property-adox.md) property of a [Key](../../../ado/reference/adox-api/key-object-adox.md) object. The code appends a new [Table](../../../ado/reference/adox-api/table-object-adox.md) and then defines a new primary key, setting **DeleteRule** to **adRICascade**.
