# Open an Existing Solution
  You can have only one solution at a time open in Solution Explorer.  
  
### To open an existing solution  
  
1.  On the **File** menu, point to **Open**, and then click **Project/Solution**.  
  
2.  In the **Open Project** dialog box, navigate to the solution you want, click the solution, and then click **Open**.
