# Uninstall SQL Server 2014
  Follow the topics below to uninstall an existing instance of [!INCLUDE[ssCurrent](../../includes/sscurrent-md.md)] completely, and prepare the system so that you can reinstall [!INCLUDE[ssNoVersion](../../includes/ssnoversion-md.md)].
