# InstanceName property (ServerSettings Class)
  Gets the name of the instance of [!INCLUDE[msCoName](../../../includes/msconame-md.md)] [!INCLUDE[ssNoVersion](../../../includes/ssnoversion-md.md)] to which the server settings apply.

 A [ServerSettings Class](serversettings-class.md) object that represents the server settings on an instance of [!INCLUDE[ssNoVersion](../../../includes/ssnoversion-md.md)].
