## Explanation  
 The [!INCLUDE[ssDEnoversion](../../includes/ssdenoversion-md.md)] cannot force service because the mirroring state cannot guarantee that the force service process would work correctly.  
  
## User Action  
 Remove database mirroring. You can then recover the mirror database to gain access to it.
