# Locate Database Files Dialog Box (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data)
  The **Locate Database Files** dialog box displays a list of available files in log and data folders defined for an [!INCLUDE[ssASnoversion](../includes/ssasnoversion-md.md)] instance. You can either select a listed file, or you can specify a different folder and file if needed. The **Locate Database Files** dialog box is displayed by:  
  
-   Clicking **Browse** on the **General** page of the **Restore Database** dialog box.  
  
-   Clicking the ellipsis button (**...**) on the **Backup file** column of the grid for the **Restore backup partitions** option on the **Partitions** page of the **Restore Database** dialog box.  
  
## Options  
 **Select the folder**  
 Select a folder to set **Selected path** to the desired path.  
  
 **Selected path**  
 Type to modify the path selected from **Select the folder**, or to select a file not listed in **Select the folder**.  
  
 **File name**  
 Type to modify the file selected from **Select the folder**, or to select a file not listed in **Select the folder**.
