# LogFileAppend Element (ASSL)
  Determines whether the [Trace](../../../analysis-services/scripting/objects/trace-element-assl.md) element appends its logging output to the existing log file, or overwrites it.

   <LogFileAppend>...</LogFileAppend>

## Remarks
