# DataSourceViewID Element (ASSL)
  Identifies the [DataSourceView](../../../analysis-services/scripting/objects/datasourceview-element-assl.md) element associated with the [Binding](../../../analysis-services/scripting/data-type/binding-data-type-assl.md) parent element.
