# CreatedTimestamp Element (ASSL)
  Contains the read-only creation timestamp of the parent element.

## Remarks  
 The **CreatedTimestamp** element contains a read-only **DateTime** value that represents the date and time that the object was created on a given instance of [!INCLUDE[msCoName](../../../includes/msconame-md.md)] [!INCLUDE[ssNoVersion](../../../includes/ssnoversion-md.md)] [!INCLUDE[ssASnoversion](../../../includes/ssasnoversion-md.md)]. The value of this element cannot be empty.
