# Check the ODBC SQL Server Driver Version (Windows)

  Your computer may contain a variety of ODBC drivers, from [!INCLUDE[msCoName](../../includes/msconame-md.md)] and from other companies. This topic describes how to use the Windows **ODBC Data Source Administrator** to check the version of the installed ODBC drivers.

#### To check the ODBC SQL Server driver version (32-bit ODBC)  
  
-   In the **ODBC Data Source Administrator**, click the **Drivers** tab.  
  
     Information for the Microsoft [!INCLUDE[ssNoVersion](../../includes/ssnoversion-md.md)] entry is displayed in the **Version** column.

>  For connections to Azure Active Directory Authentication for SQL Database install the latest driver, such as [ODBC Driver 13.1 for SQL Server](https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=53339).
